September in the Teatre Principal of Maó

"Això no és vida!" and "Hansel i Gretel".

The play "Això no és vida!", by T de Teatre, will reach today the Teatre Principal of Maó. This is an enjoyable comedy directed by David Plana, starring the five famous actresses of the "Jet Lag" Catalan television series. There will be two performances: today, Friday 3, and tomorrow, Saturday 4, both at 10 p.m.

"Hansel i Gretel", a marionette opera, is the second proposal of the month. Based on the famous story by the Grimm Brothers, this excellent opera by Engelbert Humperdinck was first staged in Germany in 1893, conducted by Richard Strauss. This version, directed by Joan-Andreu Vallvé and produced by the Gran Teatre del Liceu, stars the huge puppets of the Centre Titelles de Lleida. There will be two performances: on Wednesday 22nd at 9 p.m. and on Thursday 23rd at the same time.
