S'Albufera des Grau, Centre of the Biosphere Reserve
Reception Centre for the NaturalPark of s'Albufera des Grau
Since its opening last Saturday, the Reception Centre for the Natural Park of s'Albufera des Grau has been housing the permanent exhibition "S'Albufera des Grau, Nucli de la Reserva de la Biosfera". Produced by the Caixa Foundation, the exhibition presents the different habitats found in the park in five different surroundings, with a view to introducing visitors to the natural area.Situated in the north east of the island, in the municipality of Maķ, the "Parc Natural de s'Albufera des Grau , Illa d'en Colom i Cap de Favāritx " is the central area of the Biosphere Reserve of Menorca. As well as the most important wetlands on Menorca, the Park includes the Illa d'en Colom and the area of Cap de Favāritx with a great variety of ecosystems.
