Day of Menorca

The Day of Menorca coincides with the festivity of Sant Antoni, patron saint of the island.

Next Saturday, January 17, the Diada del Poble de Menorca will be held, an institutional event that has been celebrated in all the towns of the island since 1982 to commemorate the Menorcan conquest by King Alfons, in 1287.

From January 10 to 23, there will be activities in all the municipalities of the island organised by the Insular Council of Menorca and the Town Councils.

Amongst other activities, worth stressing is the exhibition "Ca Nostra des de fa 400 anys" in the Sant Diego de Alaior and the extraordinary meeting for the Day of Menorca that will be held on Saturday 17th at 6 p.m. in the Insular Council of Menorca. And also the concerts of traditional music and the popular sports activities that will be held around the island.
