The Casal Català de Menorca has organised three nights of Havana
songs for this weekend, by the catalan group
Mariners
de Riera. On July 18 at 9.30 in the patio of the Col·legi Salesià
Calós de Ciutadella, on July 19 at the same time n the patio of
the Claustre del Carme de Maó, and on July 20 also at the same time,
in the square of Pere Camps des Mercadal. After the concerts, there will
be "cremat" for everybody. "Cremat" is a hot drink, typical of the Havanna
singing, based on rum, coffee, lemon peel, cinnamon and sugar that is flamed
to burn off almost all the alcohol.
