Constituted the Town Councils of Menorca

As a consequence of the recently held Municipal elections, last Saturday the town councils in 8 municipalities of Menorca were constituted. The PSOE has obtained the mayor for Maó, Alaior, Es Castell, Es Migjorn Gran and Sant Lluís; el PSM has obtained it in Es Mercadal; PP has obtained it in Ciutadella; and finally Entesa de l'Esquerra in Ferreries.

Relation of mayors in the municipalities of Menorca:

Maó: Arturo Bagur (PSOE) supported by PSM.

Ciutadella: Llorenç Brondo (PP) supported by PMQ.

Alaior: Antoni Gómez Arbona (PSOE) will govern in minority due to the abstention by Esquerra de Menorca-Esquerra Unida.

Es Castell: Irene Coll (PSOE) will govern in minority supported by Els Verds.

Es Mercadal: Ramon Orfila (PSM- candidature Acord de Es Mercadal i Fornells) with absolute majority.

Es Migjorn Gran: Pere Riudavets (PSOE) will govern in minority due to the abstention of the councillor for Alternativa per as Migjorn.

Ferreries: Josep Carreras (Entesa de l'Esquerra de Ferreries) supported by PP and PSOE.

Sant Lluís: Llorenç Carretero (PSOE) supported by the councillor for UCM.
