Sardanes on Menorca

A sample of sardanes (Catalan traditional dances) is the proposal of the Casal Català in Menorca for this weekend. Organised with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Menorcan Council and the town councils of Mercadal, Ciutadella and Maó, the meeting will have the participation of the Cobla Col·legi "Pare Manyanet" from Reus, the Colla Sardanista "Maig" from Barcelona, the Colla de Geganters i Grallers from Maó and the Agrupació de Sardanistes from the Casal Català on Menorca.

There will be three performances on Saturday 10, at 12 noon in the Plaza de la Constitució in Mercadal, the same day at 6 p.m. in the Plaza de la Catedral in Ciutadella and on Sunday 11 at 12 noon on the Esplanada in Mao.
