The Casa de Cultura in Ciutadella is holding until April 15 the exhibition
"Dones d'Àfrica" with photographs by Cati Cladera (Palma, 1962)
and interviews by Montse Pablo (Madrid, 1968) carried out in Burkina Faso,
with the support of the General Direction of Cooperation of the Balearic
Government.
The exhibition, that reaches Ciutadella thanks to the collaboration
of the
Fons Menorquí
de Cooperació and the
Town
Council, deals in depth with the daily struggle that women have to
be able to survive and the vicious circle of poverty that traps most of
the African continent.
The entrance is free and the visiting times are from Monday to Friday
from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
