Next Thursday, March 6, at 6 p.m., Pere Sampol, vicepresident of the
Balearic Government and Councillor for Economy, Commerce and Industry,
will open in the Assembly Hall of the Council of Health and Consume, the
days dedicated to the design "
Primavera
de la Comunicació 2003", organised by the Instituto de Innovación
Empresarial de las Illes Balears (
IDI).
This will be followed at 7 p.m. by a conference by the designer, Miquel
Adrover, accompanied by Ana Menéndez, head of the department of
Fashion of the IDI. The conferences programmed will last until April
10 and will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Conselleria de Salut
i Consum in Palma, in the Municipal Theatre in Manacor, in Can Ventosa
in Eivissa, in the School of Art in Maó and in the offices of the
Council of Commerce and Industry in Ciutadella.
This year's programme includes two exhibitions. The first "García
Fonts & Co. 1992-2002 Ten years of independent typography in
Spain" can be visited until March 13 at the Cultural Centre La Misericòrdia
in Palma, and the second, "Impuls al disseny industrial 2002" will open
on March 26 in the High School of Design in Palma.
