Sixth Season of the Orquestra de Cambra Illa de Menorca

The Orquestra de Cambra Illa de Menorca, with Barry Sargent performing as violin soloist and conductor, will give a concert on Sunday, March 2, in the Teatre Principal de Maó. They will play two works: the Winter of Vivaldi's Four Season in the first part, and Serenade for strings by Josef Suk in the second part. This will be the opening concert of the Sixth Season of the Orquestra de Cambra Illa de Menorca, organised by the Jeunesses Musicales from Maó.

The Season includes two other productions: a concert featuring classic pieces conducted by Fernando Marina, that will be presented on April 26 in Maó and on the 27th in Ciutadella; and a concert conducted by by Marina himself that will include works by composers from the 20th century and will take place within the Summer Music Festival of Maó 2003.
