Menorca for peace. No to War!

The Plataforma Ciutadana per la Pau has called a demonstration against the war in Iraq that will be held on Saturday, February 15, at 12 noon, in the square of the Cathedral in Ciutadella. There will also be demonstrations in Maó, at 12 noon and at 6 p.m. The movement is part of the Day of Global Action against the war, day in which demonstrations will take place all over the world.

Meanwhile, the Consell de Menorca is preparing an institutional declaration against the war in Iraq that will be presented in the next plenary session, on February 17, for its approval.
