The Municipal Sportscentre of Maó will hold from January 31
to February 2 the first Menorca Lan-Party that is being organised with
participants from all over the island of Menorca. For this first
edition, the group of young computer experts who are organising the gathering
has managed to adapt a hall where 44 computers can be connected in network,
thanks to the collaboration by the Mao Town Council and several businesses.
If this first gathering is as successful as hoped, they intend to hold
other larger Lan-Parties in the future.
