Christmas activities in Ciutadella

This weekend some of the activities organised by the Ciutadella Town Council will begin. On Saturday, December 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the square of the Cathedral, there will be a solidarity party called "Festa dels reis solidaris". At the same time, the first second-hand market organised by the scouts of the parish of Sant Rafel will be held, and this will also be open, in the same square of the Cathedral, the following Saturdays in December, from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The day after, Sunday 15, at 7 p.m., the choir group Coral s'Estel will sing Christmas Carols in the sanctuary of Ma Auxiliadora.

The following weekend the Christmas Market will open in the Es Molí galleries, and can be visited until January 6, from Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Within the market, on Saturdays 21, 27 and 28, at 6 p.m., there will be handicraft workshops.

The programme of activities also includes the theatre performances of "Els Patorets", by the Grup de Teatre Sant Miquel. The performances will take place on December 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 and 29, in the Centre Catequístic de Sant Miquel, at 7 p.m.

Worth stressing is the Christmas Concert that the Capella Davídica will give in the old church of Els Socors, on Sunday 21 at 6 p.m., as well as the Christmas Lyric Concert that the Grup Líric Ciutadella will give in the Teatre Municipal des Born, the same day, at 6.30 p.m.
