Exhibition dedicated to the writer Josep Pla
The exhibition, organised by the Fundació Josep Pla with the support from the "la Caixa" Foundation, presents a collection of texts, manuscripts, photographs and audiovisuals relating to the Catalan author Josep Pla (1897 - 1981) and the books that he wrote about the Balearic Islands and the Pitiüses.
The title of the exhibition is inspired in the prologue of his book "Les illes" (Edicions Destino, 1970), dedicated not only to Mallorca, Menorca, Eivissa, Formetnera and Cabrera, but also to other islands of the Occidental and Central Mediterranean, and the Hellenic archipelago.
