The folk group Klepperklumpkes Van't Walfort from Holland visits Menorca
This weekend the members of the Klepperklumpkes Van't Walfort folk group will arrive on Menorca from Aalten (Holland), to take part in an folk exchange organised by the Arrels de Sant Joan folk group from Ciutadella. The cultural association Escola de Ball from Bunyola (Mallorca) will also participate in this meeting.
The main objective of the visit of these two groups is the "XI Trobada Folklòrica Tardor 2002" that will be held in the Teatre Municipal des Born in Ciutadella, on Saturday, November 2. But taking advantage of their visit to the island, the two guest groups, together with the host group, will perform at the sports centre of Es Mercadal, the day before, Friday, November 1.
The two performances will begin at 7 p.m. and have free entrance, thanks to the collaboration of the Ciutadella Town Council and the Es Mercadal Town Council.
