Popular Culture Days in Menorca

Concerts, exhibitions on popular culture, traditional dances, street parades... a whole series of cultural proposals for the weekend.

The Department of Culture of the Insular Council of Menorca, together will several sociocultural entities from the island, have organised a complete programme of cultural and entertainment activities that will be held from September 27 to 29. The Centre de Persones Majors, Femefolk, S'Albaida, el Cor Illa de Menorca, el Orfeón Mahonés, Soca de Mots, Colla de Geganters de Maó, the scout groups Paco Ramonell and Sant Antoni, Pinyeta Pinyol and the association ARC are some of the collaborators.

All the events will take place in Maó, except the first one, consisting of a concert dedicated to Francesc d'Albarca by the Choir Illa de Menorca, which will be held on Friday 27 at 9 p.m., in the Church of Es Migjorn Gran.

One of the most interesting activities of the programme is the Pinyeta Pinyol's fiesta that will be celebrated in the Parc des Freginal on Saturday as from 4.30 p.m.
