Music at the Pou Vell in Es Migjorn Gran

Last Thursday David Vidal, singer composer from Es Migjorn Gran, gave the first concert held at the Pou Vell, recently recovered by the Town Council. Vidal, accompanied on the guitar by Jaume Tugores and with the old public washhouse as the backcloth, presented his latest record called "Argila" to the numerous public attending.

The first concert of the summer programme "Concerts al Pou Vell" was a success and this Wednesday, August 28 at 9 p.m. there will be another performance in the restored municipal area, by a duo of piano and violin, with a concert of classical, romantic and contemporary music.

Meanwhile, this week in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Es Migjorn Gran there will be three film sessions al fresco, with "Shrek" (Tuesday 27), "El carrer de la mitja lluna" (Friday 30) and "Chocalat" (Sunday 1). The three films will start at 9.30 p.m. with free entrance, the same as the concert.
