International University of "Menorca Illa del Rei"

From September 9 to 13 at the Claustre del Carme in Maó, there will be the seventh edition of the International University of "Menorca Illa del Rei" (UIMIR) that includes an extensive programme of courses about varied subjects, such as opera, archaeology, tourism in the countryside, environment, territorial planning and new technologies, amongst others.

Participation is open to anyone who wishes to go to the island to learn, debate and reflect. The pupils of the UIMIR can benefit from special discounts for the trip to Menorca and accommodation.

The promoters of the UIMIR are the universities of Barcelona (UB), Illes Balears (UIB) and Jaume I de Castelló de la Plana (UJI), with collaboration from Maó Town Council, the Menorcan Council and the Balearic Government.
