The Teatre Principal in Maó will hold next May 17, as from 8
p.m., a lyric marathon coordinated by the Menorcan baritone
Joan
Pons, to benefit the
Fundación
Clarós, committed to improving the quality of life of all deaf
people. The lyric marathon will have the participation of
Joan
Pons, the
Orquestra
Simfònica de les Illes Balears, conducted by David Giménez,
Geoffrey Simon and Eugene Kohn, the pianist Joana Pons, the Agrupació
Menorquina de la Coral Universitat de les Illes Balears (
AMCUIB)
and some thirty well known singers such as the tenor
Marcello
Gordani, the Italian soprano
Lucia
Mazzaria, and the Menorcan baritone
Lluís
Sintes, amongst others.
The concert has the support from the Amics de s'Òpera de Maó,
the
Maó Town Council, the
Menorcan Council, the
Balearic
Government,
s'Algar Hotels,
