International Tourist Cycling Tour of Menorca

The Asociación Cicloturista de Menorca is organising the second edition of the "Volta Cicloturista Internacional a Menorca", that will be held on October 18, 19 and 20, 2002. The organisers hope to repeat the success of the first edition held last year that had 200 cyclists participating.

The "II Volta Cicloturista Internacional a Menorca" will start on Friday, October 18 with an informal tourist cycling tour and a welcome reception to the participants and those accompanying them. On Saturday, October 19 the first stage will be: Maó - Ferreries - Maó. Sunday, October 20 the second stage will be: Maó - Monte Toro- Maó.

Amongst other activities, on Saturday October 19 in the morning those accompanying will be able to participate in a cultural tour of the city of Maó, organised by the Town Council, which will include the Teatro Principal, the Menorcan Museum, the Church of Santa Maria, etc.
