GOB Plant Nursery of autochthonous plants

Es Viver is an initiative by the GOB to promote the use of autochthonous plants via their production and marketing for gardens and replanting. Situated in the installations of the Fundació Mestral, on the road that links Maó and the airport, its objectives are: to reduce the consumption of water for gardens with plants adapted to the Menorcan climate, maintain the proper genetics of the plants of the island; decrease the danger of importation of plagues; and to promote social awareness in the preservation of wild vegetation.

Es Viver is also dedicated to tasks of environment training such as the Autochthonous Gardening Course held recently.

Times:
- Mornings from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. except Wednesdays and Sundays
- Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m.
