The department of Environment of the
Menorcan
Council organises every Saturday, if it does not rain, guided visits
to the Natural Park of s'Albufera des Grau. The excursions last approximately
90 minutes and they are held in small groups of 15 person maximum, guided
by two environmental educators.
The programme of excursions began in April 2001 and they will continue
all thoughout 2002. In the winter, the participants are mostly Menorcans
and Spanish tourists, and the trip starts at 11:00 h. In the summer, the
participants are basically Spanish and Foreign tourists, and the trip starts
earlier to avoid the hot hours of the day .

The Natural Park of s'Albufera d'es Grau, Illa d'en Colom and Cap de
Favāritx is located in the Northeast coast of the island and holds
the most important wetland on Menorca and one of the biggests on the Balearic
Islands.
