The Cultural Hall of "Sa Nostra" in Maó on Menorca will
hold from November 22 to December 7 an anthological exhibition dedicated
to the illustrator, Marino Benejam Ferrer.
Marino Benejam Ferrer
(Ciutadella, 1890 - Barcelona, 1975) lived in Barcelona from his youth,
collaborating for over fifty years with the humorous comic TBO. His
drawings and jokes gave life to such well known characters as the Ulises
Family -one of the most popular families in postwar Spain- Melitón
Pérez, Eustaquio Morcillón and Babalí, amongst others.
The original drawings that are being presented in the exhibition make
up part of the private collections of Lluís Giralt, Marcel·lí
Mora and Francesc Regàs.
The exhibition has the support of the
Council
of Menorca and the
Ciutadella
Town Council.
