Cooperation for development

The Sa Nostra Social Centre in Ciutadella will hold from October 3 to 17 the itinerant exhibition "Cooperació per al desenvolupament", organised by the Cooperation Department of the Balearic Govern with the collaboration from Sa Nostra.

According to the organisers, the objectives of the exhibition are to inform the public of the Balearics about the situation that the impoverished countries are undergoing and to inform on the support action carried out on the islands in connection with cooperation for development.

The exhibition is divided into three theme blocks: cooperation for development, a just and solidarity cause; the collective destinations, the human dimension of the projects for cooperation; and cooperation for development in the Balearics. The exhibition will soon travel to Formentera (31-10-2001) and Eivissa (12-11-2001).
