Javier Sansó continues in the sixteenth place of the Vendée Globe
Javier Sansó continues in the sixteenth place, onboard Old Spice in the Vendée Globe regatta, round the world solo without stops or assistance. The Mallorcan navigator is 1,467 miles from the French leader, Yves Parlier, on board the Aquitaine Innovations. Sansó has entered in a complicated situation since he no longer has a desalination plant after crossing the Equator, and so has hardly any drinking water.

In spite of the difficulties of the race, 24 boats continue in the regatta and the first two, Parlier and Desoyeaux, have managed to cross the 50th parallel.
