Fiestas in Es Migjorn Gran

This years is the 20th anniversary of the Municipality.

The "Festes Patronals de Sant Cristòfol de ses Corregudes" will be held from July 31st to August 3rd. This year the celebrations are special because Es Migjorn Gran commemorates its 20th anniversary as an independent Municipality.

The horses will arrive on Saturday 1, at 18:00 h, with the first sound of the pipe, when the grouping of the "qualcada" will start. Following the customary rituals, the horse party will continue until Sunday afternoon and will end with the traditional share out of "aigua-ros".

On Monday 3 as from 9 p.m. there will be the "Tradicional Jaleo d'ases a sa Plaça" and the fiestas will end with a firework display and an open air dance with music by Sarau.
