Over 1,700 webs in the directory of MenorcaWeb

In February, 48 new webs have been registered in the directory and search engine of MenorcaWeb. Amongst the novelties are the firm 4 Vents Comunicació offering communication services, the infant and primary schools CP Mare de Déu del Toro de Ciutadella and CP Inspector Doctor Comas Camps from Alaior, the web called La cultura matemàtica i el valor de l'aula about the days on Mathematics that will be held on Maó on May 2004, the programme Xarxa Nura of the Menorca Insular Council that promotes the equality between men and women in work, the web of Nel Martí, candidate of the PSM-Menorca political party in the Spanish General Elections 2004, the interior hotel Casa Albertí located in Maó's historic centre and the rural hotel Son Granot.

From this link all the webs registered in February 2004 can be seen. At present the total accumulated in the data base of MenorcaWeb is 1,763 webs and 1,240 pieces of news.

As for the language presence, from the 1,763 registered webs, 689 have a Catalan version, 1,189 have Spanish, 638 have English, 228 German, 81 French and 58 Italian.

Regarding the geographical distribution, from the 1.763 registered webs, 415 are related to Maó, 332 to Ciutadella, 109 to Alaior, 95 to Ferreries, 89 to Es Mercadal, 75 to Sant Lluís, 60 to Es Castell and 33 to Es Migjorn Gran.
