Agricultural and food fair in Es Mercadal

From April 4 to 6, the second Agricultural and food fair "Agroalimentària Menorca" will take place in the refurbished pavilions of the old barracks in Es Mercadal.

Organised by the delegation of the Institute d'Innovació Empresarial of the Balearics (IDI) in Menorca and the Town Council of Es Mercadal, the fair will have the participation of over 60 associations of agricultural and food producers and firms of the Balearics, mostly Menorcan, with their own production and/or manufacture.

On Friday, April 4, the entrance to the fair is exclusively for professionals of hotels, restaurants and commerce, with a view to promoting the commercial relationships in the tourist industry and the exhibitors. On Saturday and Sunday, the fair will be open to the general public with a view to promoting the consumption of products from the Islands.

The mayor of Es Mercadal, Ramon Orfila, and the Councillor for Economy of the Consell Insular de Menorca, Ester Riudavets, accompanied by the delegate of the IDI in Menorca, Mateu Martínez, presented the fair yesterday in the Es Mercadal Town Hall.

Visiting times:
Friday: 10:00 to 18:00 h (professionals)
Saturday: 10:00 to 14:00 h and 17:00 to 21:00 h
Sunday: 10:00 to 15:00 h
