Videos and short films competition "Illa de Menorca"

The Mirador Café in Maó has organised the third edition of the "Concurso de vídeos y cortos Illa de Menorca". The films in VHS format can not be longer than 15 minutes and can be presented until April 10, 2003. The contest includes two sections: "Fiction", sponsored by the Maó Town Council, and "Documentals" sponsored by the Area of Culture and Youth of the Menorcan Council. The price is 600 euros in both sections.

On April 28, at 9 p.m., the Mirador Café will screen the participating works, and the day after, at the same time, there might be a second film session.

More over, according to José Rubio, the owner of the Mirador Café and organiser of the contest, next month, on March 10, 13, 17 and 20 at 9 p.m., the bar will hold the fifth edition of the itinerant short film festival La Boca del Lobo.
