The Carnival is here!

On February 27, "Dijous Llarder", the activities to celebrate the Carnival will begin. From this day until March 4, all the Menorcan towns will celebrate the fiesta with children's activities, street parades and fancy dress balls.

In Ciutadella the Carnival will begin once again with the official proclamation by the popular character known as the "Rei Caramel", on Thursday evening. On the web of the Town hall you can find the full programme of activities for these days in Ciutadella.

In Maó the activities will also begin on Thursday, but with a children's street parade along the centre of Maó and a party with music by Pinyeta Pinyol. On Saturday the traditional street parade known as the "Rua" will be held and also the Carnival Dance.
