Exhibition in Ferreries: "From cocoa to chocolate"

The Natural Museum of Menorca, in Ferreries, will house until February 20, 2003, the exhibition "Del cacau a la xocolata" organised by the GOB with the collaboration of the Fons Menorquí de Cooperació, of the General Direction of Cooperation of the Govern Balear and the Colonya Caixa Pollença.

The exhibition, aimed at all members of the public, is an interactive installation relating to chocolate and cocoa, that aims as making people aware of the importance of consuming products of Fair Trading to compensate the existing lack of balance between the profits obtained by the Southern countries, exporters of the prime materials, and the profit generated by the large multinationals via the products created with those prime materials.

Visiting times

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6 to 9 p.m.
Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m..
Mondays to Fridays mornings reserved for school groups with a monitor.
Closed on holidays.
