The Jeunesses Musicales from Ciutadella begin a new season

The Jeunesses Musicales from Ciutadella will begin next Monday, October 14, the new season of concerts "Dilluns de Música". The first performance will be by the accordionist Dragan Vasiljevic, winner of the Contest of Young Performers. The concert will begin at 8.45 p.m., at the Sa Nostra Social Centre, in Ciutadella.

The following week, on Monday 21, the venue will be the church of El Socors, where the music by Gresham's Chapel Choir will be heard. The last concert in October, on Monday 28, will be by the soprano Adela López, who will perform at the Sa Nostra Social Centre, accompanied by a pianist.

The cycle "Dilluns de Música" will continue the following months.

The Jeunesses Musicales from Ciutadella have also started this month a new season of the "Cine Club". The film sessions take place at the Teatre Municipal des Born, on Wednesday and Thursday at 9.45 p.m. The films programmed are: "Monsters ball" (9 and 10), "El hombre que nunca estuvo allí" (16 and 17) and "En la ciudad sin límites" (30 and 31). More over, on October 23 and 24 there will be two sessions called "Jazz al cinema" included in the IV International Jazz Festival of Menorca.
