The Ciutadella and Maó Summer Music Festivals end

The last concerts of the XXIX Festival de Música de Maó and the XXX Festival de Música d'Estiu de Ciutadella, organised by the Jeunesse Musicale of the two cities, will take place this month.

The Maó festival will end on September 3 with a concert at the Teatre Principal by the trio J. Orpella (violin), J. Mor (violoncello) and D. Ligorio (piano). This last performance is also part of the programme of the Festes de Gràcia.

In Ciutadella there will still be two concerts in September. One on Monday 2 at the Claustre del Seminario, by the Scottish David Russell who lived in Menorca for many years, and the other on September 9, at the auditorium of Els Socors, by the chamber choir Música Reservata from Barcelona, who will give a Renaissance concert.

All the concerts begin at 9.30 p.m.
