Fiestas in Es Migjorn Gran

The "Festes Patronals de Sant Cristòfol de ses Corregudes" will be held from July 29 to August 30. The full programme, organised by the Town Council, can be found on the web of the Acord per es Migjorn Gran. One of the novelties this year is the cycle of concerts "Concerts al Pou Vell".

The horses will arrive on Saturday 3, at 18:00 h, with the first sound of the pipe, when the grouping of the "qualcada" will start. Following the customary rituals, the horse party will continue until Sunday afternoon and will end with the traditional share out of "aigua-ros".

On Monday 5 as from 8.30 p.m. there will be the "Tradicional Jaleo d'ases a sa Plaça" and the fiestas will end with a firework display and an open air dance with music by Huracan and Oasis. But the activities do not end here, because on Wednesday 6 they will link with the "Setmana Cultural", later with the cycle "Cinema a la Fresca" and finally with the cycle "Concerts al Pou Vell".
