The
Museu
de Menorca, situated in the old Franciscan convent in Maó, will
be the site of the exhibition "1802: España entre dos siglos y la
recuperación de Menorca" from August 8 till October 30.
The exhibition, that forms part of the programme of events for the commemoration
of the
bicentenary
of the Amiens Treaty, gathers together over 200 works of art (paintings,
drawings, etchings and other items) and objects that reproduce the Menorcan
ambience at the beginning of the XIX century.
