AMIC Fiesta at the Pedreres de s'Hostal

Next Saturday, August 31, the annual fiesta of the Associació de Músics Independents de Ciutadella (AMIC) will be held at the Pedreres de s'Hostal. The rendezvous is at 9.30 p.m. and the tickets, including a number for the raffle that will be drawn during the fiesta, is 6 euros or 4 euros for those who are or who become members of AMIC.

The fiesta, that will end the programme of summer activities 2002 at the Pedreres de s'Hostal, will include performances by groups who are members of AMIC, and with two stages to be able to offer music without interruptions. On stage number 1, Quercus Ilex, Alpha Artic, Que Pasa Trío and Baraka-Barauki will perform. On stage number 2, Pack The Two, Suso González Trío, Jucares and Malabars. There will also be projections, DJ sessions, drinks and food service.

Meanshile, AMIC are planning two free concerts in the summer cycle this year, organised with the support of the Ciutadella Town Council. On August 28 at 9 p.m. in the Plaça Francesc Netto, a symphonic rock concert by the group Alpha Artic. And on September 11 at the same time, but in the Plaça des Pins, a jazz concert by Bombuajazz.
