Activities and fiestas in the municipality of Maó

Now that the programme for July has ended, the Town Council of Maó is presenting the new one for August, with films al fresco, exhibitions, fiestas... A long list of cultural proposals, amongst which are the concerts of the XXIX Festival de Música de Maó, the concert by Jordi Savall "Música para grandes celebraciones" (Thursday 8), the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" given by the Moscow Ballet (Friday 9), the weekly dancing by the folk group Es Rebost, and other musical performances by The Blue Cats and Sandy Bonaiuto in the Claustre del Carme.

The programme also includes the patron saint festivities that are held this month in the municipality: in Llucmaçanes (from 3 to 5), Sa Mesquida (from 8 to 12), Sant Climent (from 17 to 19) and Es Murtar (from 17 to 18).
