Cycle of talks about the new site of the Menorcan Council

With the talk "Arquitectura i medi ambient. L'efecte refrigerador de la velocitat de l'aire" by the architect, Jaime López de Asiaín, creator of the bioclimatic project for the new Consell de Menorca, next Friday, July 5, a cycle of talks about the architectural, bioclimatic and organising aspects of the new insular institution will start in the city of Maó. In the next talk, Luis Velasco will participate. He is the architect of the basic document on which the bioclimatic project of the new building. The cycle of talks will continue on Friday 12 with a talk and debate "Una nova administració dins una nova seu. El Consell de Menorca" by Àlex Álvarez, representative of Faura-Casas, Auditors i Consultors, the firm that has participated in creating the plan to reorganise and improve the Council of Menorca.

On Friday July 19, the cycle will end with the talk and and debate "Aspectes arquitectònics del projecte de seu del Consell Insular de Menorca" given by Lluís Vives, the architect and winner of the ideas contest organised by the Menorcan Council and director of the building works of the project.

The three talks have free entry and will take place at 8 p.m. in the Ateneu de Maó, an entity that collaborates with the first island institution in the organisation of this cycle.
