Photographs of the fiestas of Sant Joan at the Centre Social de Sa Nostra

The Centre Social de Sa Nostra in Ciutadella, in the Camí de Maó, will hold from June 21 to 28 the exhibition "Fotografies de Sant Joan", organised by the Associació Democràtica de Jubilats de Ciutadella.

The exhibition will include a selection of photographs of the fiestas of Sant Joan, from the shop Foto Hernando. The photos include old and modern ones, in black and white and in colour, small and large... all taken by three generations of photographers of the Hernando family, responsible for this consolidated photographic shop in Ciutadella, the oldest one with over 100 years' history.

The exhibition coincides with the celebration of the Fiestas de Sant Joan, and the exhibitions "7 de Sant Joan" e "Imatges de Sant Joan" that can be visited at the Sala de Cultura de Sa Nostra and in the Palau Saura, respectively.
