Folk dancing in the districts of Ciutadella

This Sunday, the folk group, Arrels de Sant Joan, will start in the plaza de Dalt Es Penyals, the cycle of traditional dancing organised by the Federació Menorquina de Grups Folklòrics (FEMFOLK) and the Town Council of Ciutadella during the summer months.

The cycle will include performances by different groups of the Federation, on Sundays at 8.30 p.m. approximately every two weeks, in different districts of the city. The objective is to favour those who live outside the old centre of Ciutadella, where the cultural activities are more limited, promoting at the same time the knowledge of Menorcan traditional dances.
