This Sunday, April 28, the group
S'Albaida
will present
their
new record "Mateixos temps" at the Teatre Principal in Maķ.
The concert will form part of the celebration for the Any Albranca, dedicated
to the doctor and folklorist, Francesc Camps i Mercadal (Es Migjorn Gran,
1852-1929), better known as Francesc d'Albranca. The event, organised by
the same group, S'Albaida, is also part of the programme for Sant Jordi
2002 in Maķ.
On this special occasion, S'Albaida will perform accompanied by the
Ibizan UC, well known traditional music group that was present in the Festes
de Grāca 2000. What is more, the concert will have the presence
of a good number of the artists who have collaborated in the
new
record: Cris Juanico, from the groups Ja T'ho Diré and Menaix
a Truā, Adolfo Osta, well known singer and collector of old and
medieval music, Joan Mesquida, clarinettist and director of the Agrupaciķ
Musical de Ciutadella, and Toni Perellķ, teacher of guitar at the
Conservatori Superior de Palma.
During the concert, that will start at 7.30 p.m. the video clip "Clavallet"
will be projected. It was
filmed
recently in Es Mercadal, and the group is preparing other surprises
for the audience.
