The team of the programme
Rodasons
de TV3, specialising in ethnic music, has been a whole week in Menorca,
carrying out a documentary on the Menorcan group
S'Albaida.
In the report, the components of the group (Nicolau Espinosa, Miquel Mariano,
Joan Carles Villalonga, Anna Villalonga, Nico Saiz, Moisès Pelegrí
and Lino Vidal) talk about their worries, musical origins and objectives
in relation to the musical project of S'Albaida.
They have also taken the opportunity to film a videoclip of the son
Clavellet, the number chosen as the promotional "single" of the
second
record by the group, that is called "Mateixos Temps" and will come
on sale at the end of April.
Cris Juanico, vocalist of the Menorcan Pop-Rock group
Ja
T'ho Diré, was also present at the recording of this report
and videoclip, as the song Clavellet is interpreted as a duet by the group
S'Albaida and Cris Juanico.
The settings chosen by the team of the Catalana Television have been
different placed in Es Mercadal - the municipality closely related to the
group - such as the town centre, Sa Nija or the Toro mountain, amongst
others.
Ferran Riera, director of the programme Rodasons of TV3, had already
intended for some time to carry out this television production with the
Menorcan group, S'Albaida, and the new record "Mateixos Temps" has been
the perfect excuse to travel to Menorca and prepare this special programme
that will promote the record.
