Menorcan Horse Fair

Menorca is preparing to hold once more the annual "Fira des Cavall de Raça Menorquina", that will take place in the old barracks of Es Mercadal, on May 4 and 5, organised by the Associació de Criadors i Propietaris de Cavalls de Raça Menorquina, sponsored by the Es Mercadal Town Council, the Balearic Government and "la Caixa".

This is the 6th Fair and will include, amongst other activities, the "XII Concurs Morfològic de Cavall de Raça Menorquina" and an extensive exhibition of products and activities relating to the horse world. But the moments most looked forward to are, without doubt, the horse show that will take place as usual on Saturday night, as from 9 p.m. and the prize giving ceremony that will be held on Sunday 5 at noon followed by the closing show.
