Hiram Bullock and Deborah Carter at the Club Akelarre de Maó

The popular jazz club, Akelarre from Maó has programmed for this weekend two exceptional concerts by one of the most dynamic and versatile guitarists of the moment. This is Hiram Bullock, well known internationally for the extraordinary strength of his live concerts, that take the best of rock, funk, blues and jazz. The concerts will take place on Thursday 18 and Friday 19.

For next week, the bar Akelarre has organised two more concerts with the warm and professional voice of Deborah Carter. The dates for these other concerts are Thursday, 25 and Friday, 26.

The performances at the Akelarre start at about 11.30 p.m. and the entrance is free.

According to Mikel, the director of the emblematic club in Maó, at the moment they are preparing their web page that can be consulted as from May via the address www.akelarrejazz.com.

The Jazz & Dance Club Akellare, that has been offering live jazz concerts for 12 years, is to be found at Muelle de Poniente in the port of Maó (Tel.: 971 368520) and is open every day as from 8 p.m.
