The Sant Diego
Exhibition Hall in Alaior has been holding since the middle of March an
exhibition about sustainable building organised by the Centre of Studies
of the Fòrum 3r Mil·lenni from Alaior. The exhibition, that
can be visited in the afternoons until next Sunday, April 7, includes an
exhibition of noncontaminating materials and informative panels about
constructive processes that are respectful to the environment.
As a complement to the exhibition, two conferences have been programmed
in the Public Activities Hall of the
Alaior
Town Council that will be held on April 9 and 10, at 6.30 p.m. The
first by Ismael Caballer, responsible for the area of bioconstruction of
the
Asociación de Estudios Geobiológicos
GEA, will deal with the "New urban models towards sustainability, sustainable
building and bioconstruction". The second, called "Bioclimatic architecture:
designed to save resources" will be presented by Jordi Badia, representative
of the
Agenda de la Construcció
Sostenible.
