57th Permanent Contest of Young Interpreters in Ciutadella

Ciutadella will hold, for second time, the "Concurso Permanente de Jóvenes Intérpretes de Juventudes Musicales de España", between April 18 and 21. This is the instrument section in which 31 youngsters under 24 will compete in piano, clavichord, organ and accordion.

The scenes chosen are the Cathedral for the organ concerts, and the recently restored Church of Socors for the rest.

The competition, coordinated by the Joventuts Musicals de Ciutadella, has two phases, first the elimintion sessions and afterwards the finals. We stress that the sessions are open to the public and free.

18:00 h. Elimination for clavichord.
20:00 h. Elimination for piano.

Friday, 19
9:00 h. Continuation of elimination for piano.
16:30 h. Finals for organ.
17:55 h. Finals for clavichord.
19:40 h. Elimination for accordion.

Saturday, 20
17:30 h Finals for piano.

Sunday, 21
10:00 h. Finals for accordion.
12:00 h. Reading and prize giving.
