The
GOB has organised a training
course on sustainable gardening based on autochthonous plants, that will
be held on April 8, 9, 11, 15, 16 and 18, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the
Es
Viver centre.
The objectives of the course are: to promote the Autochthonous gardening,
to raise the awareness of the participants about the dangers involved in
a gardening that is not respectful to the environment of the island, to
inform on the Menorcan environment and flora, to show the peculiarities
of each specie, and to foment the conservation of natural resources and
the use of authochtonous plants in private patios and gardens.
The inscription period finishes on on April 3 and the price of the course
is 12 €.
