World AIDS Day 2001: "I care... Do you?"

According to the WHO, World AIDS Day 2001, that will be celebrated on December 1, will focus on the role of men in determining the spread, control and mitigation of HIV/AIDS epidemics in all regions. The theme for the Day, "Men make a difference" recognizes that control of AIDS epidemics requires reorientation of health services to meet the needs of all men, as well as those populations that are the most at risk.
