International Jazz Festival in Menorca

The "III Festival International de Jazz de Menorca", organised by the cultural association Jazz Obert, started on September 14, with a concert by Xavi Marueta, at the Teatre del Casino 17 de Gener in Ciutadella.

The programme will continue with the concert by Johnny Griffin Quartet, next Friday, September 28, at 10 p.m., at the Teatre Principal de Maó; the concert by Steve Wilson Quartet, on Saturday, October 13, at 10 p.m., at the Teatre del Casino 17 de Gener in Ciutadella; the concert by Danilo Pérez & The Motherland Project, on October 27, at the Teatre Principal de Maó, at 10 p.m.; and the concert by Freddie Hubbard & The New Jazz Composers Octet, that will close the Festival on November 2, at 10 p.m. at the Teatre Municipal des Born de Ciutadella.
