On the coming September 21 and 22 the "II Days on Associationism and
Social Transformation" will be held at the
Institut
Biel Martí in Ferreries organised by the Federation of Neighbours'
Associations and the
GOB.
The days, within the training cycles by the
Fòrum
d'ONG de Menorca, intend to present practical experiences that promote
the different fields of the world of associations.
The days will start in the afternoon of Friday 21, with the presentation
of the project
Balears 2015,
promoted by Sa Nostra. This will be followed by the presentation
of the project
Renta Básica,
one of the most solid initiatives that have been proposed in the latest
years to combat social exclusion deriving from economic poverty. The events
programmed for Friday will end with a round table on globalisation.
On Saturday 22 in the morning,
REAS
will be presented, a network for alternative economy and solidarity, followed
by an explanation of experiences in the region
Castilla-León
in ecological agricultural administration, and a talk on the Custody of
the territory, a formula used successfully in America (North and South)
and that consists of voluntary agreements with private properties, that
permit the safety for future generations of environmental values most related
to the area.
In the afternoon, there will be another talk on the experience of the
city of
San Sebastián, that
has been carrying out action in favour of the pedestrians for 10 years.
The days will end with a second round table centred on long term planning
within the NGOs.
