Today is the opening at the
Kunstforum
Bank Austria of the exhibition
"Miró
später rebell" (Miró, the last rebel). The exhibition dedicated
to the Catalan artist, (1893-1983), that can be visited from March 14 to
June 4, has sixty works, paintings and sculptures, from the
Fundació
Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca, the
Centro
de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the
Centre
Georges Pompidou in Paris and private collections.
The exhibition is part of the cultural meeting promoted by the Austrian
Association of Friends of Mallorca, together with the
Palma
Town Council. The mayor, Joan Fageda, accompanied by Carme Feliu and
Joan Bauzà, travelled to Vienna yesterday to participate for three
days, until March 14, in different official ceremonies and cultural promotion.
